If you find yourself being humbled by circumstances, know that humility is embedded in the nature and character of Christ. Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will exalt you. Let his hands lift you up, he is able.
Matthew 23:12
For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
