Whether your life is quiet, and you are enjoying the sounds of the birds chirping or you are in the middle of a heated battle for your livelihood - don’t ever underestimate the element of surprise. There is an enemy who will never stop seeking to demoralize your efforts, or who will refrain from sieging your God-given purpose. If he can not defeat you being your enemy, he will attempt to deceive you by becoming your friend. In a world where everything is changing, where trust is at its lowest, and where we are being bombarded with news from around the world - we can not become naive to the fact that there are forces designed to oppose your every progress. I know many of you may be tired, others restless, and yet others flourishing in your years of retirement. But, I encourage you to never let your guard down. Your spiritual fortitude must be guarded in every season of your life. It only takes a small breach in your spiritual wall for the enemy to swirl his way in. So be careful, be vigilant, and know that God is always present help in times of trouble. Don’t let your guard down!
