One Minute with God: Take a Breath

Despite the call, and cry for change running through the veins of our nation. And, though the world is screaming “I can’t breathe” in the middle of battling a Respiratory Pandemic, and racial tensions. Rest assured that You, and I can take a breath of fresh air - in God.

Breath means Spirit in Hebrew. And, though you and I may be witnessing things that may take our breath away. We must understand that the number of our days have already been sovereignly numbered by God, and no force can remove your spirit from His hands.

Humanity has been suffocating for centuries from various spiritually rooted “chronic obstruction of pulmonary diseases” (COPD), and the life of all men has been strangled by the strength of an unseen Python enemy. But, you and I must wiggle our way, fight our way, push our way out from its grip.

God breathed into Adam's nostrils, he breathed into Lazarus, and he breathed upon His disciples and gave them peace. The knee of an earthly force may have taken the life of an individual. But, Jesus gave his divine breathe so that you may have life, and have it more abundantly. Remember he who is found in Christ shall never die. God’s Breathe is your oxygen.

Take a breath!

John 20:21-23

21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.
