You and I will come to appreciate and “value” the precious gift of “grace” when we recognize that the wages of our sin(s), by the laws of heaven and earth, demands death.
Grace is not a license, it is a gift. You did absolutely nothing to earn it or buy it. But, God in his great mercy invites you to offer your sins, to receive his grace.
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
