Lord God Almighty, you called from a mountain, and many heard your voice and trembled. You spoke to men, and they declared your utterance as prophets who discerned your desires. You came to us and sat among many as a Savior, a friend who revealed the mystery of heaven.
You ate with twelve, who had a glimpse of your humble splendor. May we be invited to sit as friends in your counsel, and hear your voice. For there is nothing more comforting and sweet then to hear your voice, Lord.
We are deaf until we hear your voice.
12Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.
