Sounds of My Writings: Leave your Mantle On

When swimming in the ocean, and the tides of life sway you back and forth never be tempted to remove the outfit that protects you. The dangers at sea are real, and there are many big and small fish, some dangerous and other pleasing to the eyes that desire your attention.

Yes, the ocean is beautiful and vast, and it was put there by God himself. But, in all it’s beauty it is untamable, and at times can be destructive. We all have to visit the ocean to fish and eat, but while enjoying your meal be found wearing the proper attire and/or outfit.

Never take off your priestly mantle, for it is your life-saver.

John 21:7-9

7Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, “It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water.

8The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards. 9When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it and some bread.
