There has always been in all of the history men, and women of God who stood the test of times. They were individuals who were considered the least among the social elites, and who faced great mockery from their adversaries. At times they were even martyred because of their flint-like opposition towards popular demand.
These humble giants of the faith learned how to synchronize their ears with heaven because their hearts were conquered by a greater good. They were motivated by mercy, goodness, love, and the fear of God.
I believe with all of my heart that many in the Bride of Christ are hearing from the Lord in this season. God is warning them, preparing them, and instructing them on what they should begin to do. These men and women are beginning to sense that this could very well be “the beginning of sorrows”. For whatever reason silence has gripped their lips, there is clearly a fearful undertone because of the fear of being called a heretic, a fear monger, or even a false prophet amongst their peers.
So I will speak, and say as one who fears God in humility that the only answer to this pandemic is repentance and mercy. The Bride of Christ is the only one who can change the heart of God at this time, because of his covenant with her. How we respond to this test will determine what lies ahead. But, repentance and mercy must begin and be found in the house of the Lord first. Sooner or later we will wake up to this unfortunate reality...
Daniel 9:9-14
9 The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him; 10 we have not obeyed the Lord our God or kept the laws he gave us through his servants the prophets. 11 All Israel has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey you.
“Therefore the curses and sworn judgments are written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured out on us because we have sinned against you. 12 You have fulfilled the words spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing on us great disaster. Under the whole heaven, nothing has ever been done like what has been done to Jerusalem. 13 Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth. 14 The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster on us, for the Lord our God is righteous in everything he does; yet we have not obeyed him.
