Insight of the Word of God, and the great outlines being reviewed in this study, it helps me consider one of Satan's strategies in Scripture. He (satan) is known as the "tempter". The temptation is luring away, by enticing the fleshly or weak desires of man. If there is something weak in a believer's life, Satan is certainly seeking for it. For the scripture says 1 Peter 5:8 "8Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." As believers, it is important to work out our salvation with "fear and trembling" and to be alert (vigil) at all times. Wisdom calls to be vigilant, for there is an enemy of our souls, who does not rest.
