There are different forms and types of theology. Theology has been misinterpreted, misused, and in some cases misrepresented throughout the ages. If it is safe to say, in every generation, misuse of theology has given way to "religion", which has given way to "doctrine", which has "divided the Word of Truth", which has "divided the Church" which has divided God's people, and which has falsely distorted the sovereignty and nature of God. We must be very careful when studying "truth", one of the most important elements missing from this wonderful piece of literature is that we all need the divine intervention (revelation) of the Holy Spirit in both the student and teacher when studying theology.
