From the moment angels, and men have Worshiped on altars built and modeled with their own hands, and have turned the hearts of my people to worship sounds that are pleasing to their own ears and not my heart - I have left the sanctuary. For there is a deception found - for which they have not taken notice - in their own self-righteous acts. For their images have been exalted, and now have taken residence in their hearts - my place of rest.

Turn back to me saith the Lord, and I will hear and answer you.

Whenever the Lord is about to do something new in a corporate body or an individual it is important to have the humility, and willingness to adapt to change.

Change is usually not easy for anyone, but it is necessary for the sustainability and success of any project or ministry. There is, in everyone’s life, a sea of discarded dreams, ideas, and creativity because when new ideas collide with the old patterns of others it becomes stagnant and breathless.

Sometimes it’s better to start your God-given idea on a new slate. It takes more work unlearning, undoing, and erasing than simply drawing!

Matthew 9:16-17

16 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse.

17 Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

How we view a matter is important, and detrimental to all of our failures and successes. Many of our perspectives are influenced by cultures, experiences, studies, and even family traditions. Sometimes even our personal blind spots can get in the way of simple love, and hate relationships.

Even though at times it is healthy to maintain certain healthy trends, this does not equate that you, and I are living God’s best for our lives. The Lord always has away, to take those things which may seem foolish, and weak to the world to confound the “wise”.

Matthew 5:3-12

3“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. 6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. 7Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

8Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 9Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. 10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
