There is a “truth” that the “world” follows which resonates true to its own ears. It’s culprits have learned the art of speaking out, microphones, mass media, and false news. They have shifted the hearts of men, cultures, and societies in symphonic sympathies which have blinded the goodness of heart and the innocence of spirit. The tickle of those with itching ears listens to their messages. They have changed the meaning of many words, principles, and values in the pages of their own scriptures called the “dictionary”. But, they have not changed the truths and hearts of the godly and their sacred book called the “Bible”.

Let’s return family, friends, and beloved to the “holy scriptures” and let it’s letters create a new song in our hearts with melodies of truth that sets you and I free.

Return to God!

Romans 1:18-32

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way, the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

"I believe, but help my unbelief."

What do you do, when you or your loved one faces doubts and challenges beyond compare? When life doesn't usher in all that you expected or you thought it had promised?

God understands your humanity. You and I don’t always have to be strong and have it all together. If that were so we wouldn’t need Christ. The scriptures teach that “in your weakness, God is made strong”. When you find yourself struggling with doubt, fear, and frustration reach out to your holy hands and touch God, with your worship!

Remember what Christ did on the cross as he laid out his hands and feet in the greatest act of love and worship.

Touch him!

Luke 24:36-39

36 While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

37 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. 38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

Road to Emmaus - Learning to walk with God

After the suffering, sacrifice, and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus appears to two disciples on the “Road to Emmaus”. This journey was filled with concern, confusion, pain, and fear but the journey of faith began and there was no way around it!

Anyone endeavoring to be called a disciple of Christ has to trust in God’s Words and learn to walk with him. Keeping God’s words in your mouth, meditate on it day and night can warm the springs of your heart.

Luke 24:13-17

Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles[a] from Jerusalem. 14 They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. 15 As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; 16 but they were kept from recognizing him. 17 He asked them, “What are you discussing together as you walk along?”
