I don’t need riches, nor am I ambitious, nor is poverty the reason I come to you, Lord. I understand that all I have and all I need is found in the richness of your communion with me. Earth has nothing I desire, but to fulfill the purpose for which you formed and created me. I am grateful for all of those who love me, and those you have asked me to love. May my days, which have already been numbered, bring you delight and pleasure.
