  • Sounds of My Writings: Angels

Angel in Hebrew means "messenger". Throughout generations, we have been trained to think that angels are some kind of "ghostly" entities with supernatural powers like "Casper the friendly ghost". Some worship angels, some speak to "their angels", some pray to angels. But, scripture is clear, they were created by God to assist in the divine plan of salvation and the building of God's kingdom. They are not to be worshiped but respected. Their purpose as a messenger is to assist in the message of the gospel (truth). Even though they may have diverse roles in the plan of God, they are holy and submitted to God's full authority. Some worship God, some protect, some assist, and even some battle, but all worship and obey. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries

  • Sounds of My Writings: Prophecies of Christ Fulfilled

In the writings provided in the "Christology" documents, six men of God - all from different vocations and their scribes expanded eight generations (800 years) of time and annotated events, times, and incredible circumstances that will occur during the first arrival of the coming Messiah. Their writings would attribute to the exact phenomena which will crown the Messiah his personification, and usher in his presence. The simple act that six men can write perfect symphonic writing without changing the storyline is incredible. But, what is most incredible is that these eight hundred years of writing all came true in only one being, Jesus Christ. The odds of every prophetic event coming true in the life of Jesus Christ, the time, space, and even the geography is absolutely unattainable unless it is supernatural. The Virgin Birth, the genealogy, the exact city, the events of betrayal, his death, and his supernatural resurrection is only but a few of the dozens of prophecies that were attributed to these men and fulfilled in the Son of God. To determine all the events from the birth, death, and resurrection in exact detail is astounding, and to fulfill them in one person can only mean one thing and one person - God. 1. Prophecy: The Messiah would be born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14). Fulfillment: Jesus was born of the virgin Mary (Matthew 1:18-25). 2. Prophecy: The Messiah would be born into the family of King David (Jeremiah 23:5). Fulfillment: In the genealogy in the Gospel of Luke, Jesus is listed as being in the lineage of David (Luke 3:23-31). 3. Prophecy: The Messiah would be born in the city of Bethlehem (Micah 5:2). Fulfillment: Jesus was born in Bethlehem (Luke 2:11). 4. Prophecy: The Messiah would be betrayed by a friend (Psalm 41:9). Fulfillment: Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, one of His twelve disciples (Matthew 10:4). 5. Prophecy: The Messiah would be tortured and crucified (Isaiah 53:5). Fulfillment: Jesus was beaten and then crucified (Matthew 27:26). 6. Prophecy: Jesus would rise from the dead (Psalm 16:10). Fulfillment: Jesus rose from the dead (Matthew 28:5-6). #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries

  • Sounds of My Writings: Six Days of Creation

There is a sense, that time, we as human beings have a tendency to overlook, overreact, and over-analyze situations in life which eventually leads to our own understanding. We have a tendency to want to know all, explain all, and master all, but when dealing with the Word of God (truth) and faith, we need to submit to its authoritative power. There are things that will never be known, things which God himself leaves to "mystify" his sovereignty. How could one believe in someone so predictable? For, to try to understand God, we try to understand man, but "God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?". This statement reveals that God's ways are not our ways, and his thoughts are greater than our thoughts. "Special Creation" reveals the omnipotence of a big God, who with a breath of his nostril changes the formation of a galaxy. There is much evidence through the Word of God, scholars, and studies that "special creation" should be taken at face value. For the greatest evidence found is in the study of his Word. The word "Yom" found in Genesis, in the original context in Hebrew is a numerical adjective which means a duration of twenty-four hours (24). Any other word could have been used, for example, "Olam" which means "an indefinitely long period of time". But, the Bible and its writers were intentionally specific that the Hebrew word "Yom" was to be used, in order to be clear of truth. God himself wanted all readers to understand that he (the Lord) created the heavens and the earth in six days, and on the seventh day rested. For what is so difficult for the Master Carpenter, when he himself is also a master Architect. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries

  • Sounds of My Writings: The Personality of Satan

Insight of the Word of God, and the great outlines being reviewed in this study, it helps me consider one of Satan's strategies in Scripture. He (satan) is known as the "tempter". The temptation is luring away, by enticing the fleshly or weak desires of man. If there is something weak in a believer's life, Satan is certainly seeking for it. For the scripture says 1 Peter 5:8 "8Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." As believers, it is important to work out our salvation with "fear and trembling" and to be alert (vigil) at all times. Wisdom calls to be vigilant, for there is an enemy of our souls, who does not rest. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries

  • Sounds of My Writings: That which proceeds from His Mouth

The Words of God, the awesome delightful book called the "Bible". Gather every question, equation, book, science, poem, philosophy, scholar, event, empire, culture, language, king, nation, planet, galaxy, universe, and all its habitats, even this is just a gleam image of God's eternal, omnipotent, sovereign power and His Words. Who can hold the universe in its entirety together and speak to a man's heart? Who could reveal the secrets of the ages, and convict the stormy sins of a soul? Who determines the lifespan of a man, and the miracle-working power of birth? Who forms the eyebrows of a child, and gives the butterfly it's color? Who provides the power behind the wings of an eagle, and gives the ant's its wisdom? The eternal Words that proceeds from the mouth of God. These words are the very fabric of all creation, and the story of life and death. The love, the faith, the hope that satisfies the soul, and gives form to the spirit of man. Who can deny it, who can oppose it, who can outlive it, it stands on the mountain of time and eternity? For as the great apostle John said: John 1:1-16 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it............ #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries

  • Sounds of My Writings: Perfect

In a time of change, turmoil, and uncertainty there is one assuring and inspiring truth that will harness your thoughts, emotions, and decisions. It will create an order and give you the necessary structure to begin your year with purpose and clarity. If you desire this remedy, you will have to settle your biases with God and accept one incredibly refreshing truth - that is that his "law is perfect". Everyone needs to learn how to govern and conduct themselves in times of insurmountable differences, the word law is defined as "a set of rules and/or guidelines which empowers an individual, people, or society to govern". Structure and stability are vital in the midst of changes, the Word of God says that his Law (Word) is perfect and it has no loopholes or downfalls, it is dependable, reliable and trustworthy just as much as the creator himself. It will revive your soul, make you wise, bring joy to your heart, give vision and clarity to your eyes, and reward you. If you can believe it, you should read it! Take time today to indulge in the goodness of his Word, and refresh your thoughts with his perfect Law. Let the God of the universe establish his ordinances in your life and watch as your world is healed and established on certainty and impenetrable hope. Psalm 19:7-11 7 The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. 8 The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. 9 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. 10 They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. 11 By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries

  • Sounds of My Writings: The Bible is Absolutely Beautiful

The insurmountable work of Kings, scholars, lawyers, theologians, priests, monks, scribes, translators, and others have amounted to millions of hours of labor and produced hundreds of translations of the Bible. The copulation of all this labor has become the framework of Bible history. Every effort exerted was important to the formation of what we call "The Bible" today. Removing or adding to all the efforts would undermine the credibility of what we call "Scriptural Truth". It is important to consider that the Bible is universally important to all cultures, and not necessarily exclusive to English. It is my contention, that the earliest "original" text of each testament or scrolls (Old Testament - Dead Sea Scrolls or Septuagint) and (New Testament - Codexes) are crucial in history. As languages change, cultures change, and time changes, the interpretation of each manuscript could have been "exclusively" influenced by the writers or translators. This brings us back to the importance of translation, interpretation, and inspiration. Focusing on the importance of the original text is vital to "truth". Just a notation: If the Septuagint was quoted by Jesus in the delivery of his message Luke 4:14-20, and used dozens of times in the Old and New Testaments by prophets, apostles, and even Christ himself I would think it all has validity). #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
