- Sounds of My Writings: The Dove
One of God's soaring beauties, created by God's own hand. It has the ability to fly high in the heavens and it's innocence reveals the unspotted absence of sin in a believer's life. This by all means is one of the functions of the Holy Spirit in a person's life to sanctify, purify, and make Holy to the day of our coming Savior. For known shall see God unless they are Holy. For the Holy Spirit, himself is the breath of God and comes from the very essence of his holiness that is why he is called "Holy". Unwrinkled, for the touch of a Dove's feather, is like the soothing touch of those whose first love has not grown weary by the darts of the enemy nor by the pollution of sin in the earth. For even the sight of a dove is "pure" to the onlooker, and gentle in flight. For the Holy Spirit is a "gentleman" and he soothes the worries of life by his counsel. For Christ suffered, died, and was buried (sacrificed) in order to shed the blood necessary for the forgiveness of Sin. And as he resurrected he ascended to the highest heaven to send he "The Holy Spirit" to comfort and counsel you. For even the dove reflects the nature of Christ and the Holy Spirit that he would share similar characteristics in the act of sacrifice. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
- Sounds of My Writings: Jesus our High Priest
How wonderful to know that we have a High Priest who continually intercedes for us, and defend us. Understanding the uniqueness of Christ's sympathy, and acknowledging his complete knowledge of our concerns, weaknesses, and trials are soothing to all who know him. He is not a God who is distant, absent, and to far to reach, but a God who clearly is close to our hearts and near to our circumstances. He is a High Priest who does not only present his prayers before the Father, but a Priest who has lived the trials, temptations, and pressures of life and who sympathizes and concerns himself with our victories. He doesn't practice the ritualistic principles of sacrifice, for he is the sacrifice, and his prayers for you and I are on the altar of God the Father. He is highly favored, and his name is above every name. He fights, he ministers, he intercedes, he prays, and he lifts up his holy, strong scarred hands and with power delivers and redeems his people. Jesus our High Priest. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
- Sounds of My Writings: The Hypostatic Union of Christ
It is challenging to understand that total perfection can be found in a human being (Jesus Christ) from the scope of human intellect. For our sphere of understanding and articulating miracles, divinity, and even God is limited and requires faith, and the mind of Christ (Spirit) to achieve. Death-defying miracles, walking on water, changing water into wine, feeding five thousand with a few pieces of bread and fish is a clear manifestation of the supernatural, and even science lags behind in attempting to understand it. But, Jesus Christ was not only human but also divine, all-powerful in his Godly nature. To help understand this complicated phenomenon I will try to use a simple analogy even used in "Hollywood", a supernatural man, with a costume (flesh), with supernatural powers, with a divine purpose, tempted but sinless in nature = "Jesus Christ" my superhero. LOL Perfect in the image, perfect in the likeness (nature), perfect in spirit, perfect in action, and perfect in power. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
- Sounds of My Writings: How could Jesus (God) grow and develop in stature and wisdom?
When contemplating this question, I asked myself another question "How do you fit eternity into time?" In the study and beauty of childbirth, it is awesome to see how the fingernails, the eyebrows, the hair strands, the eyes, and feet of a child no bigger than the size of a grain of rice is formed. So it is, that inside this small beautiful child there is a pulse, molecules, elements, atoms, and organelles all working together to form the complex system called the human body or being. This incredible miracle and its complex sinews were reinforced with many different elements and forces. So it is with "wisdom" and every evolving or developing system. Jesus as a child was birthed, all of God's nature, image, and likeness was embodied in a small vessel which, with time, would take on muscles, mastery, and divine form. It is said that "Wisdom is gained through experience, but knowledge is studied". Consider a muscle, each one of us is full of muscles, but unless used, trained, and formed properly it becomes flimsy. So it is with "wisdom", and every other gift and virtue endowed in Christ. Just consider, in order to reach full mastery and personification of such virtues each one of us faces, testing, trials, tribulation, knowledge, experiences, time, and understanding in order to attain results. So it is with development. As a human body develops in stature, so does the unveiling of wisdom is attained in practice, experience, trials, tribulations, and time. "Faith without works is dead". #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
- Sounds of My Writings: Sound Theology
Sound theology should be the framework of studying, teaching, and living out the Word of God. By gaining balance in all these avenues you and I will safeguard ourselves, and those who we are teaching. As the famous Apostle, Paul states in Philippians 2:12-16 "12Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. 14Do everything without complaining or arguing, 15so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe 16as you hold out the word of life...." #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
- Sounds of My Writings: Truth vs. Philosophy
There is a big difference between philosophy, deception, and truth. Many individuals and sects for thousands of years have aspired to interpret Holy Scripture through sciences, opinions, beliefs, secular intelligence, or so-called divine inspiration. Many of these "inspired opinions" have to lead to multitudes being misled, deceived, and manipulated which can and will lead to eternal judgment. The Gnostics were a sect which were prevalent during the time of Christ, and which is clearly prevalent today. It is, according to scripture, a deceiving false doctrine and spirit which seeks to deter souls from the truth. John addressed Gnosticism by establishing points which reveals this deceiving doctrine and the entity behind it: 1. Every believer or student of Scripture should display caution when undertaking and embracing the truth. 2. We must identify that there are spiritual influences that are behind deceptive doctrines, teachings, and opinions. 3. These teaching are being taught around the world. 4. To expose and recognize truth from fiction, brethren or enemy of the gospel, teachers or false prophets: a. "Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God". b. "but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God." One of the core beliefs of Gnosticism is that "Christ was either a phantom or came upon the body of Jesus for a short time between His baptism and death. They denied that Christ had a physical body, but that He only seemed to have one." This is addressed by the Word of truth by stating that "this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world". It is clear that John was addressing something prevalent in his time, but as the Word of God says "the Word of God is Spirit", we must understand that it is an issue which is prevalent throughout time. 1 John 4:1-3 1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
- Sounds of My Writings: Prophecies of Christ Fulfilled
In the writings provided in the "Christology" documents, six men of God - all from different vocations and their scribes expanded eight generations (800 years) of time and annotated events, times, and incredible circumstances that will occur during the first arrival of the coming Messiah. Their writings would attribute to the exact phenomena which will crown the Messiah his personification, and usher in his presence. The simple act that six men can write perfect symphonic writing without changing the storyline is incredible. But, what is most incredible is that these eight hundred years of writing all came true in only one being, Jesus Christ. The odds of every prophetic event coming true in the life of Jesus Christ, the time, space, and even the geography is absolutely unattainable unless it is supernatural. The Virgin Birth, the genealogy, the exact city, the events of betrayal, his death, and his supernatural resurrection is only but a few of the dozens of prophecies that were attributed to these men and fulfilled in the Son of God. To determine all the events from the birth, death, and resurrection in exact detail is astounding, and to fulfill them in one person can only mean one thing and one person - God. 1. Prophecy: The Messiah would be born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14). Fulfillment: Jesus was born of the virgin Mary (Matthew 1:18-25). 2. Prophecy: The Messiah would be born into the family of King David (Jeremiah 23:5). Fulfillment: In the genealogy in the Gospel of Luke, Jesus is listed as being in the lineage of David (Luke 3:23-31). 3. Prophecy: The Messiah would be born in the city of Bethlehem (Micah 5:2). Fulfillment: Jesus was born in Bethlehem (Luke 2:11). 4. Prophecy: The Messiah would be betrayed by a friend (Psalm 41:9). Fulfillment: Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, one of His twelve disciples (Matthew 10:4). 5. Prophecy: The Messiah would be tortured and crucified (Isaiah 53:5). Fulfillment: Jesus was beaten and then crucified (Matthew 27:26). 6. Prophecy: Jesus would rise from the dead (Psalm 16:10). Fulfillment: Jesus rose from the dead (Matthew 28:5-6). #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
- Sounds of My Writings: Immutability
Who is robed with eternal majesty, and sustains the world in his right hand? Who stands as the author of life, and is named with the name that is above every name? Jesus, the Son of God, clearly is perfect in all his ways, his righteousness is the standard of eternity, and his humility is the framework for greatness. He will never perish, and stands as the Lord of time, he reveals the mysteries of the unknown and the love which binds the universe together. He is unchangeable and is the fabric of truth. Infallible, incorruptible and everlasting are his Words, his teachings, and his life. He is the source of life and through him, creation was established. He holds the keys of heaven and earth, hedes, and the storehouses of heaven. The rains water the earth, and he dresses it with dew, he replenishes his creation with his spoken word. At his command, the dead will rise, and the winds will stretch the earth from a breath of his nostril. He forgives the sinner and establishes the saints. His love is eternal, unalterable, and ageless. Christ is immutable, he is God the eternal. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
- Sounds of My Writings: Holy Priests
It is in the everlasting love of God “The Father” that we as believers become heirs of a Kingdom of Holy Priests. A blessed group of elected individuals who were predestined to be conformed into the image and likeness of his perfect Son (Jesus Christ). His eternal hands guide us, and his enormous arms embrace us, and he leads us into a blessed hope of restoration, perfection, and love. He provides every virtue, power, authority, and ability to be transformed - and live out the blessed hope for which we have been saved. He comforts us, blesses us, elects us, calls us, redeems us, justifies us, indwells in us, perfects us, keeps us, honors us, loves us, sanctifies us, provides peace to us, glorifies us, reveals the truth to us, supplies everyone need we have, he disciplines us, restores us, gathers us, and rewards us, just as he did and continues to do through his Son Jesus Christ. For as the firstborn of many, we have been made one with him, and in him, and no authority, principality, time, height, nor distance can separate us from Jesus Christ and God “The Father”. He provides for all of us, who has been called by his name, to attain an eternal inheritance that will never perish but shall exist from everlasting to everlasting. We as believers have become part of the great family of God. We love you, dad. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
- Sounds of My Writings: In the Beginning
Before the creation of the World, and from the moment "time" was measured and introduced, the infallible Scriptures declares that the "Word" existed. This "Word" whether audible, verbal, or contextually present in form, was in the company of the Father and dwelled in his presence. It is clear that the "Word" was with God, as one who accompanies another being, giving us a clear picture that there was a minimum of two divine entities present. The Holy Scriptures than reveals that the "Word was God", the "Word" was/is clearly equal in nature, divine power, and divine wisdom. Thus, revealing the second "Godhead" in the Holy Trinity. As we read on we learn that Jesus who is the second "Godhead" is masculine in nature and form, for as research reveals, the word "He" is a pronoun only given to an individual with masculine traits. The second verse in this scripture than states that Jesus (the Word), was with God (The Father) in the beginning. For Christ was/is forever present, is forever equal, and is forever knowing of the incredible mystery of creation and the deity of God the father, as ONE. John 1:1-2 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
- Sounds of My Writings: That which proceeds from His Mouth
The Words of God, the awesome delightful book called the "Bible". Gather every question, equation, book, science, poem, philosophy, scholar, event, empire, culture, language, king, nation, planet, galaxy, universe, and all its habitats, even this is just a gleam image of God's eternal, omnipotent, sovereign power and His Words. Who can hold the universe in its entirety together and speak to a man's heart? Who could reveal the secrets of the ages, and convict the stormy sins of a soul? Who determines the lifespan of a man, and the miracle-working power of birth? Who forms the eyebrows of a child, and gives the butterfly it's color? Who provides the power behind the wings of an eagle, and gives the ant's its wisdom? The eternal Words that proceeds from the mouth of God. These words are the very fabric of all creation, and the story of life and death. The love, the faith, the hope that satisfies the soul, and gives form to the spirit of man. Who can deny it, who can oppose it, who can outlive it, it stands on the mountain of time and eternity? For as the great apostle John said: John 1:1-16 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it............ #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
- Sounds of My Writings: Theology?
There are different forms and types of theology. Theology has been misinterpreted, misused, and in some cases misrepresented throughout the ages. If it is safe to say, in every generation, misuse of theology has given way to "religion", which has given way to "doctrine", which has "divided the Word of Truth", which has "divided the Church" which has divided God's people, and which has falsely distorted the sovereignty and nature of God. We must be very careful when studying "truth", one of the most important elements missing from this wonderful piece of literature is that we all need the divine intervention (revelation) of the Holy Spirit in both the student and teacher when studying theology. #soundsofmywritings #andyfernandez #iamministries
